Being a Filipina American pastry chef and small business owner, I strive to highlight my culture in everything I do and to uplift my community. A portion of the proceeds from each "Ube Lover Box" ordered this month will be donated to AFIRE Chicago.
AFIRE is a grassroots community organization that builds the capacity of Filipinx/a/os to organize on issues of social, racial, and economic justice that affect undocumented immigrants, domestic workers, seniors, and youth.
